 Offers open concurrent storage
With the 7269i you can store data from two computers, simultaneously,
regardless of the type of second system. For example, the AS/400 can be connected to one
input port on the 7269i while the port is automatically responding to a RISC/6000, another
AS/400, or even a standard SCSI on an open systems platform. The 7269i incorporates a true
multi-tasking RISC processor to provide concurrent operation at 10 MB per second.

Delivers high capacity and throughput
The single drive model provides 7 GB of storage uncompressed, and 14 GB
with IDRC compression. Capacity in the dual drive model is 7 or 14 GB uncompressed, and up
to 28 GB per drive with IDRC compression. Throughput is increased by a 2 MB data/command
buffer. Additional efficiency is provided by intelligent command processing; every
function is recorded therefore redundant commands are not executed and the host receives
an immediate confirmation of completion.
Provides a wide range of features
The 7269i includes a variety of "smart" features: an LCD
display for making on-site configuration changes operator-configurable emulation,
diagnostic port, single-ended and differential host ports; and mirroring and intelligent
cascading. Also included is a printer port with an interface for printing labels and bar
codes.
