a standard PC keyboard replacement. All PC keys are marked in blue and all 5250 keys are
marked in black. It has all AS/400 terminal keys such as New Line key, Field
Exit key, DUP key, and others. This is to assist in the
transition from a non-programmable workstation to an intelligent workstation. The 6 pin
din is the PS/2 style connector. |

NOTE: 122-key keyboards require device driver software to run with
all emulation products except BOSaNOVA (Plus, Desktop,
Client, TCP/IP) and IBM Personal Communications (P-COMM). These drivers need to be
installed in your Windows operating system to intercept the custom keyboard scan codes
to correctly pass them to your IBM host computer (AS/400 or Mainframe) or to automatically modify the keyboard profile to conform to the 5250
standard. |
