The perfect wedge for IBM, Decision Data, Memorex
and Other
Brand AS/400 and 3270 Terminals
Exceptional performance, too.
Fast scanning speeds-3 to 45 inches per second on standard density barcodes-allow
the QuickReader 2100 to keep pace with even the most demanding industrial applications.
Supported barcode symbologies include Code 3 of 9, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC/EAN, Codebar,
Industrial 2 of 5 and Code 128.
The QuickReader 2100 automatically discriminates between these symbologies and
uses program menu cards to change code parameters or disable codes. In addition, it allows
you to program symbology parameters like code enable/disable, minimum/ maximum length,
start-stop character transmit, check digit enable and transmit, UPC/EAN supplements
enable, and Code 3 of 9 append.
Other QuickReader 2100 features include 16-digit preamble/postamble programming,
intercharacter and interfunction delays to the terminal, and input record editing/output
record formatting. An auxiliary port is provided for connection of an RS-232 device such
as an external reader, scale or a portable terminal. You can even program the port to
output scanned data to a printer or another menu-selectable terminal.
